ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

Objectives of PROM UEK 2.0

1.       To build a network supporting academic development.

2.       To increase the number of short-term mobility activities.

3.       To enhance the social competence of students, doctoral students and academic staff.

4.       To improve the quality of education.

5.       To increase knowledge of opportunities for international cooperation.

Activities Available Under the Project:

Students

·         Participation in a conference – 15 participants, three conference days.

·         Participation in short-term educational programmes – 25 participants, up to 10 days.

·         Mobility for the preparation of an international grant proposal – five participants, up to 14 days.

·         Participation in a summer or winter school – 15 participants, up to 10 days.

Doctoral Students

·         Participation in a conference – 10 participants, up to three conference days.

·         Participation in short-term educational programmes – 14 participants, up to 10 days.

·         Mobility for research data collection – 12 participants, up to 20 days.

·         Participation in a summer or winter school – eight participants, up to 10 days.

Staff Members Without a Doctoral Degree

·         Participation in a summer or winter school – one participant for up to 10 days.

·         Participation in short-term educational programmes – two participants, up to 21 days each.

·         Participation in a conference – one participant for three days.

·         Mobility for research data collection – one participant for up to 10 days.

Staff Members Holding a Doctoral Degree

·         Participation in conferences – seven participants, three conference days.

·         Collection of research materials – five participants, up to 20 days.

·         Teaching activities – one participant, up to 24 days.

·         Participation in short-term educational programmes – five participants, up to 14 days.

·         Preparation of grant proposals – one participant, up to 14 days.

·         Participation in a summer or winter school – one participant, up to five days.

·         Library research – two participants, up to 24 days.

·         Conducting measurements – one participant, up to 10 days.

International Visitors

All incoming activities are planned for three days:

·         Students attending a conference – 20 participants.

·         Doctoral students attending a conference – 11 participants.

·         Staff attending a conference – seven participants.

·         Staff preparing an international grant proposal – five participants.

Expected Participation

·         80 students: 60 from KUE and 20 from international institutions.

·         55 doctoral students: 44 from KUE and 11 from international institutions.

·         40 staff members: 28 from KUE and 12 from international institutions.

Gender equality is ensured among project participants.
