Message from our school nurse

Dear Families,

As we enter the peak of the cold and flu season, here are a few reminders. Remember to keep your child home if he or she has a fever (temperature greater than 100). Students should remain home until they are fever free for 24 hours without the use of Tylenol or Ibuprofen. This will help prevent the spread of viruses to other students at our school.

We are excited to welcome the Vision to Learn Mobile Optometrists. They will be visiting our school on February 7, 2019.

Several of our students will also be visiting our school dentist, Dr Holber, at Universal Dental in Penn Hills on February 6, 2019.

As always. stay healthy, safe, happy, and warm!!

BOYs Basketball

Meet our PHCSE Boys Basketball team!!!

The 2018-2019 Boys Basketball Team is comprised of 7th and 8th grade student athletes. All of the players came into this season eager to learn, compete, and discover what it means to be a part of a team. Throughout the season we experienced both highs and lows but never lost sight of what we wanted to accomplish. Although our record does not reflect the amount of hard work and effort each athlete put forth, what it did show was their tenacity, commitment, and will to persevere throughout the season. This determination was evident through the final game of the season when the team brought home a victory with a convincing score of 40-12. As we build upon next season, we will continue to grow through our character, academics, relationships, and entrepreneurship both in the classroom and on the court. As the legendary NBA Hall of Famer, Larry Bird, once said "Push yourself again and again. Don't give an inch until the final buzzer sounds." Go Eagles!
