When learning a new platform for distant learning (Google Classroom, Hangouts, Screencastify, etc.), research "how to" videos on YouTube first. There are many other teachers using these programs in their daily instruction and have created detailed tutorials that can help you and/or give you ideas on how instruction looks using these tools.

If you are having issues with the technology, contact your site tech for support. You can contact them via email or call through Google Hangouts.
