Use A team Google Calendar: Create a team calendar so you and your colleagues can coordinating lessons schedules, assignment/project due dates, and assessment times. This will greatly reduce the overloading students with work during the week.
For Your STUDENTS
Set clear expectations for your students every week: Students will benefit from weekly reminders of what they're expected to learn, complete, and submit.
Assign students to their own "study group" consisting of 3-4 students: This will help organize your discussion posts, feedback/grading, and content distribution. (this can be done directly in Google Classroom)
Consider setting up regularly scheduled remote "Office Hours": Having a regularly scheduled open office hours (online) will simplify when students can get help at predictable times each week.
Use alternative modes of assessing student learning: Have students make audio/video recordings to digitally document and submit evidence of their progress on assignments. A student that can explain his/her understanding is providing evidence of real learning.
