Tech Camp for Teachers virtual edtech conference is bringing together thousands of Mississippi educators and others from around the nation to share, inspire, and collaborate!
Join us for two dynamic days of innovation, inspiration and learning. Conference sessions will highlight ways to embed technology into the workflow, share best practices and finish with actionable takeaways you can begin using the next day in your classroom, school, or district.
What is Tech Camp for Teachers
TC4T (Tech Camp for Teachers) is an entirely online professional development experience for K-12 educators using technology in their classrooms. Teachers participate in a wide range of sessions, all online, that focus on your classroom teaching strategies with technology. Learn cutting-edge technology integration techniques and lessons from experts delivered via video sessions.
How it Works
After registering, you will have access to our online conference portal. The portal is compatible with most every internet connected device. Sessions will be available to watch on June 16th. Videos can be accessed in the conference portal to watch whenever you want during the event window. Videos will be available through December 2021.
CEUs/SEMIs/OSLs
Attendees will be able to earn CEUs for the virtual conference. Attendees will need to view a minimum of 38 sessions to earn 2.0 CEUs. Each session will have a code embedded in the video. At the end of the conference, we will post a link to a Google form that the codes will need to be entered. The Google form will be available through June 25, 2021. Once the form is submitted, attendees will receive an email with the Proof of Attendance/CEU/SEMI/OSL Request form. Attendees will then need to print and mail the Proof of Attendance/CEU Request Form to William Carey University with a $15.00 check or money order no later than July 2, 2021. William Carey will then process the request and mail the certificate directly to the attendee.
Tech Camp for Teachers 2021 has been approved for 10 SEMI credits and 1 OSL credit. 100% attendance is required for SEMI/OSL credit. Participants who miss any portion of the training will not receive SEMI/OSL credit. 100% attendance will be attending one presentation per time slot, which equals 27 presentations/sessions.
All participants expecting to receive SEMI credit must hold a Standard Career-Level Administrator License. All participants expecting to receive OSL credit must hold a Standard Entry-Level Administrator License. Attendees will complete the same Google form and select SEMI or OSL. We will then report the requests to MDE. There will not be a fee charged for the SEMI/OSL credit.
