Mission and Guidelines

The mission of the FIC is to provide a facility in which parents can interact and engage in purposeful and imaginative play with their child.

FIC GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES

Admission to the FIC is FREE for parents and children. In order to provide a positive experience and maintain each area to the highest standard, we have established the following guidelines and procedures.

The FIC is an early childhood center only for children birth to five years old.

Children must be accompanied by an parent/adult at all times.  The purpose of the FIC is for parent interaction and engagement with children.  Cell phone usage should be limited, and parents should be engaged with children at all times.

It is required that all materials in a room/area are returned to their designated area immediately after usage.

(Ex. fish in baskets, groceries in the correct spot on the shelves, coins in chest).  All items must stay in each designated area/room.

An area is provided for food and drink outside. Food and drink are not allowed inside the FIC rooms/gym.

The STEM lab is for children ages 3-5.

There is one door for entrance and exit, and all children must wear shoes while in the facility.

Adults visiting with family or friends are asked to limit the time involved with other adults as the purpose of the center is for adults to be engaged and focused on their children.
