In response to the unique distance learning needs created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mississippi Children’s Museum (MCM) has created meaningful learning experiences for children to experience from the safety of their own homes. Each week for the next 16 weeks, MCM will be creating four weekly at-home activities centered around STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), health, arts, and literacy. In addition, the MCM team is creating daily instructional videos that help bring at-home learning to life virtually. MCM is making these resources available to school districts and Head Starts across the state at no charge.
