Prince George's County Public Schools and Suitland High School have partnered with Naviance to provide a variety of tools to support you in your academic, career and college planning. These tools are located in Family Connection, a website for students to access these online resources, communicate with school staff and work on college and career readiness activities assigned by your counselors and teachers. You can set personalized goals, take career interest inventories and assessments, search for colleges and scholarships, and much more. You will access your account with your Clever credentials, same as you access many of the other learning applications you use in school. When you log in for the first time, explore as much as you would like, but take particular note of the My Planner > Tasks Assigned to Me section. This will show you a list of all the activities you are expected to complete by the end of the school year.
Suitland High School students can access Naviance with their PGCPS username and password by following the directions below:
Go to http://www.pgcps.org/
Click on Options
Click on Student Resources
Click on “Login to CLEVER”
Click on “Log in with Active Directory”
Enter school username & password
To launch Naviance, click on the Naviance icon at the bottom of your Clever Account
Matching Your Common Application to Naviance
To match your Common Application to Naviance, you must create a Common App account on the Common Application website. Add your colleges to common application. Sign the Common App FERPA Release Authorization. Go to Naviance Student, navigate to colleges, and colleges I'm applying to. If accounts are not matched, a message will display at the top of the window in RED along with a "match accounts" button. Click on Match Accounts. Enter the email address you used to create your common application.
Requesting Transcripts in Naviance
To request your transcript in Naviance, go to Naviance Student, navigate to Colleges, and Colleges I'm Applying To. Click on the + sign to add your colleges to Naviance and then Add and Request Transcript. Click on the type (Initial, mid-year or final) of transcript you're requesting. Click Request and Finish.
