Free Digital Access to PGCMLS News Suite
The Prince George’s County Memorial Library System (PGCMLS) offers free digital access to The Washington Post, The New York Times and 27 popular magazines. These new resources are available through the PGCMLS online “News Suite” at pgcmls.info/news-suite to PGCMLS cardholders and PGCPS students. Flipster (EBSCO) provides access to 27 major magazines.

Activitiy:
1. Choose a Museum. Select two pieces of art and make a list comparing and contrasting that piece of art.
2. Choose a piece of art that appeals to you. Write about why you like it.
3. Which museum had the best website? Write a letter to that museum praising them for their website. Tell the why you thought they had the best website.

Zoos and Aquariums:
Activity:
1. Observe your favorite animal. Keep a journal about that animal for a week. Research the animal you are observing. Create a brochure that could be used by the zoo to tell people about the animal.
2. Choose an animal. Research their habitat. Using materials found at your house, create a miniature habitat for that animal.
