Prince Georges County is composed of the most diverse and talented students in the State of Maryland. We as an organization are created to serve those students, by providing them with a platform to advocate and seek change within PGCPS. Our organization is the bridge between our schools and our student leaders.

Greatness, Value, and Passion
I am proud to serve as President of the Prince George’s Regional Association of Student Governments (PGRASG), representing thousands of students across our county. From a young age, I’ve been driven by a passion for amplifying student voices, turning concerns into action, and creating opportunities for every student to lead. Leadership, to me, isn’t about a title . it’s about listening, inspiring engagement, advocating for well-being, and building a stronger, more connected PGRASG that reflects the incredible talent and potential of our students. I am committed to making every student feel seen, heard, and empowered, and together, we will elevate our voices, spark meaningful change, and show the world the power and promise of Prince George’s students.
Committees are the main way in which PGRASG initiatives come to life. Each committee takes part in actively making PGRASG come together. Headed by our elected officers and comprised of our appointed officers.
The Parliamentarian advises PGRASG on matters of parliamentary procedure and ensures that such procedures are observed at all meetings. They also advise PGRASG regarding the provisions of its charter, constitution, and bylaws, as well as potential amendments. Each year, they assess whether a constitutional review committee is needed and must be fluent in parliamentary procedure.
The Chief of Staff directly supervises all staff activities, ensuring that each member completes their assigned tasks. They report both progress and challenges to the Executive Board and attend all PGRASG General Assemblies, Executive Board meetings, and MASC events to provide updates and input. The Chief of Staff assists the Parliamentary Procedures Chairperson in evaluating the need for charter revisions, collects monthly reports from all appointed positions, and submits quarterly reports to the 1st Vice President one week after each General Assembly.

They prepare and publish a directory of student government presidents early in the fall, edit and produce the PGRASG Post, and communicate with Executive Board officers and SGA presidents about meetings and updates. They also collaborate with the Chief of Staff and Webmaster to publicize PGRASG events.
Lobbyists
The Lobbyist works collaboratively with the MASC student legislative appointee to lobby the Board of Education, county, and state legislatures on issues affecting PGRASG and PGCPS students. They chair workshops on lobbying techniques, review and report relevant legislation, and assume responsibilities delegated by the Student Board Member or PGRASG President. They also attend Board of Education meetings when possible.
Historians
The Historian maintains accurate pictorial records of all PGRASG events during their term and presents to the General Assembly at least twice a year. They collaborate with the Webmaster to publicize the outcomes of General Assemblies.
Middle School Student Advocates
The Middle School Student Advocate works closely with high school advocates to develop and expand student advocacy programs in middle schools. They assume responsibilities assigned by the 2nd Vice President.
High School Student Advocates
High School Student Advocates create a network connecting SGA presidents across the county, maintaining direct contact with them to share ideas, challenges, and solutions. They serve as liaisons between PGRASG and school SGAs, submit activity reports at Executive Board meetings, and organize advocacy workshops for high school students.
Evaluations Chairperson and Co-Chair
The Evaluations Chairperson and Co-Chair provide on-site feedback to the officer team during PGRASG events as deemed necessary by the President. They also distribute and update evaluation forms for all PGRASG events.
Webmasters
The Webmaster routinely updates the PGRASG website, facilitates technological presentations at events, collaborates with the Historian, and assumes responsibilities delegated by the President as needed.
Events Coordinating Committee
The Events Coordinating Committee plans and executes all philanthropic and community service activities for PGRASG. They inform members about service opportunities, coordinate fundraising events, and work with local charities. The committee ensures event venues are properly secured and setups are executed as planned.
G.O.L.D Mentors
G.O.L.D. Mentors assist the Regional Advisor in implementing the elementary leadership development program and ensure mentor coverage for each meeting. Each mentor is responsible for one of three G.O.L.D. groups, assists in lesson planning, and attends meetings during the school day, which are excused absences.
LGBTQ Student Outreach Liaisons
The LGBTQ Student Outreach Liaison serves as the official PGRASG representative to organizations addressing issues affecting LGBTQ youth and their allies. They create and evaluate programs that raise awareness about LGBTQ issues, organize educational events, promote respect for diversity and inclusion, and encourage the use of gender-neutral language.
Mental Health Committees
The Mental Health Committee advocates for mental health education among students by creating initiatives and programs that highlight youth mental health issues. They collaborate with the PGCPS Mental Health Coordinator and support a county-wide mental health forum.
Environmental Outreach Coordinators
The Environmental Outreach Coordinator serves as the official PGRASG liaison to environmental youth summits and attends Student Environmental Coalition meetings. They update PGRASG schools on environmental initiatives and encourage student engagement in sustainability and environmental issues.
