SUMMER LEARNING PROGRAM

THE PGCPS HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER LEARNING PROGRAM OFFERS STUDENTS AN OPPORTUNITY TO EARN ORIGINAL CREDITS AND/OR RECOVER FAILED CREDITS TOWARDS FULFILLING GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS. STUDENTS WILL COMPLETE 100% OF COURSES IN-PERSON AND/OR ONLINE WITH DAILY INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT PROVIDED FROM A PGCPS CERTIFIED CONTENT TEACHER.

SESSION ONE: MAY 23, 2022 - JUNE 17, 2022 (2 Credit Maximum)
- Current PGCPS 12th Graders Only
- Virtual, Asynchronous Instructional
- Mondays & Wednesdays
- Credit Recovery & Original Credit Course Offerings
SESSION TWO: JULY 5, 2022 - JULY 29, 2022 (2 Credit Maximum)
- DAY PROGRAM:
  - - Current PGCPS 9th - 12th Graders
    - In-Person, Synchronous Instruction
      - All students must report to a Summer Site Hub.
    - Credit Recovery Only
    - Mondays - Fridays
- EVENING PROGRAM:
  - - Current PGCPS 9th - 12th Graders
    - Virtual, Asynchronous Instructional
      - All students and teachers are virtual.
    - Original Credit Only
    - 1 Credit Maximum
    - Mondays - Thursdays
- NOTE: Please make note a student can earn a maximum of two (2) credits in one of the following registration formats:
  - - Two (2) Credit Recovery Courses offered during the Day Program; OR
    - One (1) Credit Recovery Course in the Day & One (1) Original Credit Course in the Evening
