eDoctrina for Learners
eDoctrina is the official platform where PGCPS staff members can use the Learner Dashboard to search the professional learning catalog, register for courses, and monitor professional learning activities.
ACCESS EDOCTRINA
From the PGCPS Homepage, access the Staff Portal.
Click on the Applications menu and select eDoctrina, then select Login to eDoctrina.
Enter your PGCPS username and password and click Sign In.
Select the QUICK LINKS menu in the top left.
Select LEARNER DASHBOARD.

The Learner Dashboard
The Learner Dashboard is the main page for all activities related to professional learning.
My Upcoming Courses - The list of upcoming courses for which you are registered.
Add Course - Access the course catalog and search for classes.
My Waitlist - The list of sections for which you are on the waitlist. If space becomes available, you will be registered and the course will move to your My Upcoming Courses section.
My Surveys - After a section is concluded, if a survey is associated with the course it can be accessed here.
My Past Courses - View a list of all the courses you have registered for this school year. Refer to the Registration Status column to learn more.
My Transcripts - View a list of the courses for which you have been marked “Complete”. If you have questions about your course status, contact the office in the Office column.
**Courses from MyPPS and ERO transcripts will also appear.
FIND A COURSE
Basic Search
In the My Upcoming Courses section, click on the Add Course button. A new tab will open.
Type a keyword, course number, or section number.
Click Search.
A list of courses and available sections will be displayed.

Advanced Search
Click on the Add Course button.
Click the Advanced Search button.
Select the desired criteria
results must match all the selections on the left.
results will match any of the selections on the right.
Click Apply.
A list of courses and available sections will be displayed.
If the search is too narrow, click Reset and try again.

REGISTER FOR A COURSE
Select the Register button next to the section information.
Select Register to continue registration.
As confirmation of your registrations:
A message will appear in the top right corner.
Registered will appear in place of the register button.
You will receive an email from “eDoctrina” confirming your registration.
Links for virtual courses will be emailed 3 days before the start of the class.

register for a COURSe - Requiring Payment
Select the Register button next to the section information.
Select Register to continue registration.
The Add to Cart and Check Out or Add to Cart Message will appear.
If you select Add to Cart, Continue Shopping:
you will have 15 minutes to make payment from the time the course is selected. (You may want to select this option if you are registering for more than one paid course.)
Once you have finished selecting courses:
click the shopping cart in the upper right corner. This will take you to the MySchoolBucks link to make payment
If you select Add to Cart and Checkout, you will receive a message – select Proceed to Checkout. This will take you to the MySchoolBucks link to make payment.
After payment has been processed you will receive an email from “eDoctrina” confirming your registration.

withdraw from a COURSe
If you are no longer able to attend:
Access the Learner Dashboard from Quick Links menu.
In the My Upcoming Courses section.
Click the View Details button next to the course you need to drop.
Select the Drop Section button.
Select Yes to confirm.
A confirmation message will appear in the top right corner.

COMPLETE A COURSE SURVEY
After a course concludes and you have been marked attended for at least one session, you will receive access to the course survey. You will have 30 days to complete the survey.
Access the Learner Dashboard from Quick Links menu.
In the My Surveys section (on the right).
Click the Take Survey button next for the relevant course.
The survey will open in a new tab or window.
Select or enter a response for each question.
When you are finished, click the Submit Survey Results button at the bottom of the page.

MY PAST COURSES
Access a list of your previous eDoctrina registrations.
If you have questions about your registration status contact the office that hosted the training.
TRANSCRIPTS & CERTIFICATES
Access a list of courses and certificates for which you have been marked “Complete” in eDoctrina.
Printing Transcripts and Certificates
Access the Learner Dashboard from Quick Links menu.
Select My Transcripts in the top right.
To print a transcript, click the Export to PDF button
To print a Certificate, click the print button to the left of the course name.
If You Are Missing a Course on Your Transcript
If you are missing a course, please follow up with the instructor or office that held the training.
Provide the course name, approximate date(s) of the workshop, section number (if available).
Self-Paced Courses
ACCESSING A SELF-PACED CANVAS COURSE
The link to the Canvas course will be available on your Canvas Dashboard as well as the Learner Dashboard in eDoctrina.
COMPLETING CANVAS COURSE REQUIREMENTS
As you work through the Modules page in your Canvas course, you will notice some items have a gray circle next to them. This circle indicates that item has a requirement associated with it, which will be noted below the item title.
As you complete required items, the gray circle will turn into a green checkmark.
MARKING COMPLETE in eDOCTRINA
After completing the coursework in Canvas, return to the Learner Dashboard in eDoctrina and click the Mark Completed button associated with your self-paced course.
If you have successfully met all the requirements, a Canvas grades synced message will appear.
If you have not yet met all the requirements, a Requirements Not Met message will appear. Return to Canvas and complete the work.
