ASPIRE is JHU APL’s unpaid, hands-on, learning-based internship that provides high school juniors and seniors with the opportunity to explore careers in the STEM field. The internship is entirely virtual/remote, so anyone who chose in person will not be considered.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is offering a period of internships for minorities where students will gain work experience and study experience with a mentor in aviation fields. The internship is available to seniors with a GPA of 3.0 and above for the fall, spring, and summer. The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) is seeking applications for summer internship appointments for high-school students to conduct research at USU. The intent of this summer internship is to provide an opportunity for students interested in science, engineering or medical career fields to participate in research directed at improving the care of injured military service members and society at large. This mentored research experience will expose participants to ongoing efforts in integrated science, technology and engineering solutions at the nation’s premier military medical school. The Gains in the Education of Mathematics and Science is looking for assistant Near-Peer Mentors. A paid internship where current high school juniors and seniors will fill many roles to support STEM lessons for middle school and high school students who are close with them in age. The position takes place in-place and virtual. Register by February 15, 2022.
