Solo & Ensemble Festival

As a member of the instrumental music program, your child is eligible to participate in the PGCPS Elementary Solo and Ensemble Festival. Solo and Ensemble is designed to enhance and showcase your student's talents and hard work.  They are encouraged to participate in this adjudicated festival. Each participating student will receive a graded rating, written and verbal comments from the adjudicator, and a certificate that can be put into his or her education portfolio.

The festival will provide additional strategies to help your student successfully continue in instrumental music and should provide a positive experience for participating students. The festival will occur on Friday evening, May 10th, from 5:30 - 9:00 PM.   Your child, however, will only need to be present for approximately thirty minutes. You will receive the exact performance time approximately two weeks before the festival. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
