Greetings Partners in Education (otherwise known as parents) and future scholars! I am beyond EXCITED to be your RELA (Reading) teacher here at Gwynn Park MS. This is my 18th year teaching, but only my second year in PG County. I am originally from CT, and I am a mother to 3 AMAZING sons. My educational philosophy is simple: Have Fun Learning! I do believe that learning should be FUN as well as informative and effective. It is my goal to engage students in becoming better readers, writers, and thinkers. I enjoy reading, writing, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and attending plays.

Greetings, wonderful 6th Grade scholars and parents. I am a highly qualified teacher who has taught math and/or science in Prince George’s County for 27 years. All of these years have been at the middle school level. I am originally from just north of Pittsburgh, PA. I earned my M.Ed. from Indiana University of PA. I am the father of three adult children, and the grandfather of an amazing 2 year old grandson (with another grandchild on the way). My favorite things to do are spending time with my family, riding my motorcycle, and fixing/building things.I am looking forward to building my students’ math fluency and problem solving skills that they can apply to everyday life.

My name is Mrs. Margie Arreglo Fat. I’ve been teaching Science for 22 years. I’ve taught sixth through eighth grade. My husband and I have two children. My daughter is an eighth grader and my son is a first grader. I like reading, biking, camping and spending time with my family!I look forward to teaching and learning with my GPMS family.
