Welcome to the Gwynn Park High School Course Request Page! This year we are submitting course requests for next school year through our Synergy SIS platform. These requests are for for elective or Advanced Placement course requests. This year's priority submission window is from February 10, 2025, to March 7, 2025.
Students must submit 6 elective/AP course requests for the year. From those requests, 3 will be primary (first choice) and 3 will be alternate requests. Students will also use the DE/ Advance Placement & Honors Request Form to verify Advanced Placement Course requests. It is imperative to read and follow the instructions on the form to minimize the risk of getting scheduled incorrectly. If you have further questions, please contact your counselor. A student who fails to submit course requests within the window mentioned above can and will likely result in courses being selected for them without the opportunity to change.
Upperclassmen students planning to take a "Dual in the School" dual enrollment course next year or summer should share that intent in the "notes to the counselor" section of the Students will also use the DE/Advance Placement & Honors Request Form.
