Service Learning Opportunities
Half Day Applications

School Links

School Links will be used to SUPPORT our College Application process. Students should use school links to help support their post high school research during the summer.

Service Hours

Students need 24 Service Learning hours to graduate.
If your student is interested in a half day next school year , they must have their 24 Service Learning Hours completed by the end of THIS School Year.
SL opportunites are posted on the Band App

Graduation Requirements

Credits

English (4 Credit) - Math (4 Credit) - Social Studies (3 Credit)
Science (3 Credit) - Completer (2 Credits) - World Language , CCRD or ROTC
Fine Art (1 Credit) - Technology Ed. (1 credit) - Financial Literacy (.5 credit)
Personal Fitness (.5 credit) - Health 1 (.5 Credit) - Health 2 (.5 Credit)
2 Elective Credits

Testing

English (MCAP) | Gov’t
Algebra 1 | Life Science (MISA)

Student Requirements

Academics & Credits: Must be in good standing.
Service Learning (SL) Hours: Must be fully completed.eed a
Testing Requirements: Must be fully completed.
Enrollment/Employment: Must be enrolled in Dual Enrollment or employed in the Fall to be approved for a half day.

Early Release Requirements

Required Documentation

Proof of Employment: Working students must submit proof of work from their employer on official letterhead.
Parent Letter: Students must submit a parent letter approving the half day as part of their application.

Important Information & Next Steps

Availability: Half Day applications will be available starting in August via the Band app.
Deadlines & Submission: Updates on when completed applications and supplemental documentation will be accepted will be communicated through the Band app.
Status Updates: Final application approval will be communicated directly through email.
