Rising 3rd TAG

Congratulations on completing 2nd grade and for continuing or accepting placement into the Capitol Heights Elementary School TAG Center Program.

We are using this webpage to present to you our mandatory TAG Summer Learning Project! Summer learning is important for intellectual growth and development. For example, reading encourages students to continue learning while providing fun and enjoyment. We want to make sure that our students' minds are stimulated and students are prepared and ready to learn once they return.

Over the summer, our students need a BREAK, but they must not sacrifice a break in their learning. Summer projects are due no later than September 20th. Work will be scored & used as an initial Quarter 1 Assessment grade.

(**A hard copy of the project was given to students the last week of school. If you need a hard copy of the project, please contact Mrs. Walton to arrange picking it up from the school)

Enjoy your Summer and be Safe!

Mrs. Wendy Walton, TAG Coordinator
