Substitutes
Teams with three or four players may substitute team members during play of a hole. Example: A team of three players chooses Player A and Player C to hit tee shots. They select Player A’s ball. Player A and Player B hit the approach shot to the green. Player A and Player C attempt the third shot from the putting green. Player B holes out the next shot, and the team records a 4.
Teams will compete in two divisions at the 2025 PGA Family Golf Championship.
Amateur Division: Teams of all ages and relationships. All players have amateur status.
Professional Division: Teams of all ages and relationships. One or more players are PGA or LPGA Professionals.
Players must be at least 10 years old on August 30, 2025, to participate.
Players under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Team members must be biologically or legally related.
Teams are inclusive of all family members, regardless of age or relation, e.g. grandparents, spouses, aunts, uncles, parents, step-parents, siblings, cousins, etc.

The player’s age on August 30, 2025, is the age that will be used to determine the appropriate tees.
Note: Players may not be younger than 10 years of age as of August 30, 2025.
Teeing area assignments are as follows:
Tee #1 (Most forward): Girls 10-11
Tee #2: Boys 10-11 and Girls 12-13, Women 50-older
Tee #3: Boys 12-13, Girls 14-older, Women 49-under
Tee #4: Men 60-older
Tee #5: Boys 14-17, Men 59-under
Approximate maximum yardages for each teeing area are as follows:
Tee #1: 4800 yards
Tee #2: 5300 yards
Tee #3: 5700 yards
Tee #4: 6100 yards
Tee #5: 6600 yards
