The 2027 Girls High School Golf National Invitational returns to the Pinehurst Resort. This invite-only tournament field will be made up of the top high school golfers across the country competing at the “Home of American Golf.” The Girls Invitational is a 3-day, 54-hole stroke play event including team and individual competition. Competition rounds will take place on Pinehurst No. 5 and Pinehurst No. 6.
Receiving an invitation to the National Invitational is quite an honor since only the best high school golf teams and individuals will receive invites based on state championship performance. The Invitational brings together a wide variety of golfers from nearly all 50 states. Public or private. Suburban or rural. Small or large. All high school state championship teams, individuals, and their families are welcome at the Invitational.

July 15 | Practice Rounds
July 16 | Practice Rounds & Player Registration 8:00am-2:00pm at Pinehurst Country Club (Outlook Room).
July 17 | First Round of Competition - Single Tee Start from 7:00am-1:00pm (Pinehurst No. 5 and Pinehurst No. 6)
July 18 | Second Round of Competition - Single Tee Start from 7:00am-1:00pm (Pinehurst No. 5 and Pinehurst No. 6)
36-Hole Cut for the top 20 teams (plus ties) and top 15 individuals (plus ties) not on an advancing team
July 19 | Final Round of Competition - Single Tee Start from 7:00am-1:00pm (Pinehurst No. 6 for those making the cut)
We will be hosting the Sandhills Shootout on Pinehurst No. 5 for those who did not make the cut
Awards Ceremony immediately after the conclusion of play at Pinehurst No. 6 near the practice putting green (weather permitting). The estimated time of the Awards Ceremony is 7:00pm (subject to weather and pace of play delays)
All players will compete on both competition courses over the 54-hole event - Pinehurst No. 5 and Pinehurst No. 6
Pairings for Rounds 1 & 2 will be announced prior to the tournament.
Round 3 pairings and course assignments will be determined based on team and individual scores from the previous two rounds.

Yardage Books are now available at a 20% discount for the tournament golf courses (Pinehurst No. 5 & Pinehurst No. 6) from StrackaLine Golf.
All players will receive custom Titleist & FootJoy welcome gifts at Registration.
The National Invitational winning team will receive a team trophy, individual medals, and a custom Titleist golf bag.
The runner-up team receives a team trophy, individual medals, and custom Titleist & FootJoy gifts.
The 3rd place team will receive individual medals.
Individual medalists receive a trophy, a medal, a tournament flag, and a custom Titleist golf bag.
The All-Tournament team (1st-10th place) will receive Invitational pin flags.
AJGA PBE Points awarded to top finishers - 12 points for 1st Place, 8 pts for Top 5, 4 pts for Top 10, 1 point for Top 15.
The Individual Medalist will receive an exemption to compete in the 2027 Junior PGA Championship at NCR Country Club in Kettering, OH.
The Individual Medalist will receive an exemption to compete in the 2028 North & South Junior Amateur at Pinehurst Resort.
The winning team, along with the top 10 individuals, will receive an automatic bid to the 2028 National Invitational.
