All Caddies not assigned to a player in advance may obtain a bag through the Caddie Chairman. Caddies provided must be paid promptly by the player at the minimum rate of $250/day + tip .

The following policies will be in place for these rounds:
Practice rounds will be scheduled around availability on the club’s tee sheet.
Club Caddies are mandatory Thursday-Sunday from 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM If the practice round takes place outside of the mandatory time, a caddie will be required if there are more than two guests playing in the group besides the PGA Professional.
All practice rounds will be charged a $43 cart fee per person.
If a caddie is in the group, each player will be charged a $34/caddie fee plus pay the caddie a gratuity of $40/person. Gratuities can be paid in cash directly to the caddie or charged in the golf shop.
Food and Beverage can be purchased on property, no outside food or beverage is permitted.
Participating PGA Professionals can utilize the practice facility from 7:00 AM – dusk on the day of their practice round.

However, all practice facilities will be open from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Tee times are NOT currently required for practice rounds on Friday or Saturday. However, play will only be allowed off Tee #1 and the first tee time for practice rounds will be 8:00 AM so that maintenance workers can finish their course preparations. No guest play is allowed.
GOLF CARS
The 2026 Senior PGA Championship will be walking only. Golf Cars will not be allowed (except for players who have requested and subsequently been permitted use of such through the PGA of America ADA policy). All players must have a caddie for all practice and Championship rounds.

PRACTICE ROUND PLAY
Tee times are NOT currently required for practice rounds on Sunday, Monday or Wednesday. However, the first tee time for practice rounds will be 7:00 AM off #1 and #10 so that maintenance workers can finish their course preparations. No guest play is allowed.
On Tuesday, there will be limited tee times after 2:00 pm (pending any weather or other delays) for Players not in the Pro-Am to sign up. Information and where to sign up will be on site at Player Registration. The range and practice facilities will be available for those players not in the pro-am, but restricted due to pro-am players warming up. Please see the Pro-Am page for exact times.
On Wednesday, April 15, the 1st tee closes at 3:00 PM and the 10th tee closes at 5:00 PM. Caddies may NOT walk on any green behind the Championship Set-up Committee, who will start on Hole #1 at 3:00 PM and hole #10 at 5:00 PM.

Use of Distance Measuring Devices at the Championship

The use of distance-measuring devices will be allowed at the 2026 Senior PGA Championship during competition rounds in accordance with Rule 4.3a(1) in the Rules of Golf. To help clarify what this means:
DISTANCE & DIRECTIONAL INFORMATION
Allowed: Getting information on distance or direction (such as from a distance-measuring device or compass).
Not Allowed: Measuring or calculating elevation changes, wind speed, “effective yardages” or interpreting distance or directional information (such as using a device to get a recommended line of play or club selection based on the location of a player’s ball). Any device functionality other than distance (i.e., slope, elevation change, etc.) MUST be disabled. Map features on such devices are prohibited as outlined in the Local Rules and Terms of the Competition (MLR G-11).
If a distance-measuring device has any additional functionality referenced as not allowed above, the use of any such additional function would be a breach of Rule 4.3a(1).
We are hopeful that allowing the use of such devices will help players and caddies determine their yardages and club selection in a more efficient manner.
If you have any questions on the use of such devices during competition rounds we encourage you to speak with or ask any PGA of America Rules Committee Member.

The only approved materials that may be used under Model Local Rule G-11 (Green Reading Materials Restrictions) include:
PGA of America Approved Yardage Book – 2026 (Provided to player and caddie at registration)
Daily hole-location sheet provided by the PGA of America
Any course map (meaning a map of the entire course) printed on a document that is no larger than letter (8 1⁄2” x 11”) or A4 (8 1⁄4” x 11 3⁄4”) sized paper.

Players may wear shorts during practice rounds, however, slacks must be worn during Championship rounds while playing or practicing. Shorts must be hemmed, not more than 2” above the knee, and professional looking in appearance.
All players are required to present a neat appearance, appropriate to a Major Professional Golf Championship.

All former winners of The PGA Championship.
All former winners of The Masters, The United States Open, and The Open Championship, who have not yet reached their 66th birthday as of April 16, 2026.
All former United States Ryder Cup Team members, who have not yet reached their 66th birthday as of April 16, 2026 (Former U.S. Ryder Cup Captains have lifetime eligibility).
All former European Ryder Cup Captains, who have not yet reached their 61st birthday as of April 16, 2026.
The top 15 finishers and ties from the 2025 Senior PGA Championship.

The PGA reserves the right to invite additional players not included in the categories listed above.
The total field will be a maximum of 156 players. Openings caused by the withdrawal or non-entry of any of the 35 club professionals (see item 10 above) will be filled exclusively from an alternate list determined by the order of finish at the 2025 Senior PGA Professional Championship (“2025 SPPC Alternate List”). All other openings in the field will be filled, in order, off of the 2026 Charles Schwab Cup Money List through March 30, 2026, through position 89. If, and when, the next opening occurs, position 90 and forward will be filled by alternating between the 2025 SPPC Alternate List and the 2026 Charles Schwab Cup Money List. Entry deadline is Friday, March 20, 2026 for all exempt players. Conditional players (*) will be finalized on Monday, March 30, 2026.
