PGA Officials will not call contestants to the starting tee. It is the contestant's responsibility to be in place and ready to start at his/her assigned tee and starting time.
54-hole stroke play Championship (Team and Individual)
Coaches that travel with a student-athlete competing in the individual division will not have access to a golf car. You must walk with your individual competitor during both practice and competition rounds.
The use of a non-motorized push cart is allowed at both golf courses. Push carts are limited and available on a first come, first serve basis at Shoal Creek only. Bent Brook GC does not have any push carts available for rent.
Field Size: The field will consist of 202 players, with a total of five different divisions:
Men's Division I - 10 Teams
Men's Division II - 10 Teams
Women's Division - 10 Teams
Individual Division - 52 Individuals (Comprised of Men & Women)

The Team Division is open to Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) with NCAA Division I and Division II golf programs. Priority is given to all Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs) including but not limited to schools in the MEAC, SWAC, CIAA, and SIAC Conferences.

Hispanic Serving Institutions and Predominantly Black Institutions must be ranked within 15% of the top ranked HBCU (through Golfweek/Golfstat rankings) at the time of the registration deadline

The Individual Division is open to ALL eligible student-athletes on the current roster of their collegiate golf team (DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, NJCAA) that do not have a represented team at the Championship, or students participating in the Professional Golf Management (PGM) programs. Participants competing in the Individual Division MUST be one of the following ethnic origins:
African American Latinx
Alaska Native Middle Eastern
American Indian Native Hawaiian
Asian North African
Hispanic Other Pacific Islander

17.12.5.2 Annual Exemptions
NCAA Division I Proposal 2019-122 was adopted and made effective beginning August 1, 2022. The PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship may now permissibly occur as an exemption from the number of dates of competition in golf and serve as a season-ending event for golf teams and individuals without the need for a legislative relief waiver.
(b) Season-Ending Event. Competition in one season-ending event (e.g., NCAA championships). A season-ending event involves competition after the end of the regular season between teams that are not identified until the close of the regular season.
