The Public Finance Research Cluster (PFRC) is housed within the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. PFRC brings together three distinct centers united by a commitment to rigorous, nonpartisan research, technical assistance, and training in public finance, economic policy, and public financial management — serving policymakers, governments, and communities at the state, national, and international levels.
The Fiscal Research Center provides objective fiscal and economic research to inform Georgia policymakers. FRC archives contain policy briefs, research reports, and presentations spanning more than three decades.
The Center for State and Local Finance advances knowledge on tax policy, financial management, education policy, and economic development. CSLF archives include research on state budgets, tax structures, and intergovernmental fiscal relations.
The International Center for Public Policy conducts research on fiscal reform, taxation, and public financial management in developing and transitional countries. ICePP archives span three decades of international advisory work and policy research.
The PFRC Archives are a centralized repository of prior research, publications, and policy documents produced by the Fiscal Research Center, Center for State and Local Finance, and International Center for Public Policy. These archives offer researchers, policymakers, students, and the general public seeking access to decades of rigorous public finance scholarship.
