Part of camp programming, campers will participate in making and building upon our community quilt. Each camper is given a small piece of fabric to decorate which is then stiched together into the quilt.
At Camp Rainbow Phoenix, we believe that every child deserves a safe and inclusive space to explore, learn, and grow. Our one-week overnight summer camps offer 2SLGBTQIA+ youth a unique opportunity to connect with others, build leadership skills, and have fun in a welcoming environment. We are run by pflag Canada and AIDS Committee of Durham Region. Our program is made possible by the generous support of our sponsors and donors.
It is a time to learn, have fun, and an opportunity to make new friends. As a youth Leadership Camp we focus on building and nurturing the leadership potential and personal resiliency of our campers in an effort to help them become agents of positive social change in their schools, families, and communities.
