Wieland Elementary Counseling

Hello! My name is Allie Bost, and I am the school counselor at Wieland. I have a B.S. in Elementary Education from Baylor University, and a M.S. in Professional School Counseling from Angelo State University. I have been in education since 2014. I taught 1st and 2nd grades for eight years (six of them at Wieland) before stepping into the counselor role. I look forward to working with your child this year. I want your child's experience at Wieland to be a positive one. I make every effort to get to know each student personally, and make them aware of the services I provide. I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. My counseling services are designed to support students in navigating the various challenges they may encounter during their educational journey. 

 As a school counselor, I believe my role is to provide a safe and confidential space where students can explore their concerns, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth. Whether facing academic pressure, interpersonal conflicts, mental health issues, or simply seeking guidance, I am here to help!

• Consultation for Teachers and Parents

• Coordinator for our No Place for Hate Student Coalition

• Coordinator for Second Step Curriculum

• Coordinator for Red Ribbon Week/Career Week

• Evaluator for Gifted and Talented and Credit by Exam
