Required Tutoring Hours
Any student who does not pass (at the Approaches performance level or higher), is absent from, or otherwise does not receive a score on a 2021-2022 STAAR assessment will be required to participate in 30 hours of supplemental accelerated instruction per subject area test (the only students this does not apply to are students who enroll from out-of-state, from a private school, or from a home school).
Attending either in person or Zoom sessions for EOC Summer Preparation Program will count towards the required 30 hour minimum.
Each STAAR assessment that meets the above information is subject to 30 hours of supplemental accelerated instruction
During the 2022-2023 school year, students may be required to attend tutoring before or after school to meet the state minimum standards.
