This is my second year at Connally, teaching US History and AP US History. Before I came to CHS, I spent 8 years at Pflugerville Middle School teaching US History (among other things). I have a B.A. in History from the University of Texas at Austin.

You'll get to know me more throughout the year, don't worry! I have a husband, a son in second grade, and a daughter in Kindergarten. We are all obsessed with reading, love to go camping and to National Parks, and we spend a lot of time at Renaissance Festivals and UT football games. We got a new puppy this summer. Her name is Eleanor Ruffsevelt (Ellie) and she is amazing.

I am excited for the school year - getting to know students and learn about them as they learn to love history is the best part of teaching. Yes, it's different this year, but we can still have fun and learn.

Fun fact - My uncle taught at both PMS and at CHS, so I'm literally following in his footsteps 😄
