My name is Brandy Fairley & I'm excited to be teaching your child this year! This is my seventeenth year teaching in the Petal School District. I have taught kindergarten, second grade gifted, sixth grade ELA & gifted. This is my thirteenth year to teach kindergarten. I LOVE teaching!! Once your child is in my classroom he/she will forever be in my heart!

 I have lived in Petal all of my life, and graduated from Petal High School in 1996. I attended Jones County Community College and William Carey University. I received my B.S. Degree in Elementary Education as well as an endorsement in Reading, Social Studies, Gifted, and Mild/Moderate Special Education. I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education & a Specialist Degree in Dyslexia Therapy from William Carey University.  I have been a National Board Certified Teacher since 2012. 

I am married to my wonderful husband of twenty-four years, Kim. We both grew up in Petal & graduated from Petal High School. This school district & community is very dear to our hearts. We are the proud parents of four children, Kaitlyn is a graduate of Petal High School & now attends USM pursuing a degree in Elementary Education, Hana-Grace is a freshman at PRCC, Carson is Senior at PHS, & Haley Ann is a 4th grader here at PES. We also have two fur babies, Lovie is my miniature schnauzer & Rip is a long haired pointer.  We are active members of Petal Harvey Baptist Church. We enjoy traveling, watching movies & spending quality time with our family & friends. We also say "Hail State!" at our house. 

Some of my favorite places in Petal include 601 Meats & More, McALister's, Petal Nutrition, Southern Lace, Fig & Sweet Blossoms. My go to snacks are whoppers, popcorn, COFFEE with lots of cream/sugar, & loaded teas. 

This is going to be an AMAZING and SUCCESSFUL year!
