The deadline to register for the solo competition is Wednesday, February 11. The cost to participate is $25 per student (cash or check accepted). Checks made payable to Petal Show Choir Booster. This must be paid PRIOR to adjudication.
Due to the anticipation of a large number of participants, we would like to limit each school to a maximum of 5 participants in the solo competition. If additional spots are available after the February 11 deadline, then you are welcome to send more. I will send out an email and let you know how many spots are available, and it will be first come first serve on the available spots.
The solo competition will take place near the cafeteria in the Black Box Theater. Soloists must provide their own accompaniment. Piano and a cd player with auxiliary cord (and lightning adapter) will be provided. The judge and participating students will decide if spectators are allowed in the solo competition room.
The middle school solo winner will be announced at the awards ceremony Awards Ceremony on Friday and the high school solo winner will be announced at the Prelims Ceremony on Saturday.
