Welcome, once again, to the Petal High School Women’s Choir!! Being in the Women's Choir entails becoming a member of something larger than yourself; you are part of a group, which has goals that must be accomplished together. Choir members will also have the chance to shine on their own, through solos, duets, small groups, and with student leadership. As a member of the “Women’s Choir”, you will not just learn to sing and sight-read, you will learn where your strengths and weaknesses lie, how to work with other people, how to follow a chain of command, and how to enjoy reaping the benefits of hard work.  

Our year is not from August to December nor from January to May, the “Choir Season” begins in August and we are busy until school lets out in May. Not only is our busiest time during Christmas but also from February to March as we get thick into “performance season.” This is when we travel to Festival and show-off our hard work. However, it is not just hard work. Students of the choir have the opportunity to be a part of many different types of activities, including honor choirs, social events, newspaper articles, serve in leadership positions, and a variety of different performing venues. We are a team and we do not intend to leave anyone behind. We take one goal into our sights, and we strive to accomplish it as a group. The only way that we can accomplish our goals is by working together, as a group, as a team, and as a “family.” Once again, welcome to the Women's Choir Family!
