ABOUT ME

I graduated from Mississippi State University in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I have always enjoyed working with children. Over the last 16 years I have worked with children of various ages in many capacities from babysitting, camp counseling, leading children's church, and of course teaching! This will be my fifth year teaching, third year at PPS, and first year in second! I have taught Pre-k and Kindergarten, and I am looking forward to teaching the slightly older kids! I truly believe these years are some of the most important years in a child's life. Now is the time for them to learn more about the world and themselves, explore new ideas, and really dive deep into their interests. I am passionate about helping children learn and grow into the best version of themselves with a love for learning. I look forward to meeting your student and to a wonderful school year!

My Family

I am originally from Decatur, Alabama where my most of my family still lives currently. I am the oldest of two sisters, and I have 2 older step brothers. My family is very important to me as we are incredibly close; my sisters are some of my best friends.

I am married to my husband of 4 years now, Logan Henry. We welcomed our first child, Elyzabeth, into the world in February 22. We have two border collie mix dogs, Bucky and Loki. They are full of energy and always keep me going. My family is everything to me
