A: All students will be using Google Classroom since they receive an account when they register at Pohakea. In addition, teachers may be using other platforms/websites such as Seesaw, Padlet, ClassDojo, etc. for students to turn in work. Your child's teacher will reach out to you in the beginning of the school year to give you more information.

Help them set up a quiet, distraction-free learning environment.
Make sure they are not facing the TV and have it turned off during virtual sessions.
Remind them to have their materials ready such as paper, pencil, At Home Resource Folder.
Charge the device the day before.
Have them log on 5 minutes before the virtual session starts.
Bookmark the Grade 3 Sites and other learning websites to make them easier to find.
Stay connected with your child's teacher through ClassDojo or email to be informed about important updates and to have open communication.
