June 13th, 1941 -Moishe the Beadle begins teaching Eliezer the Kabbalah
1942
March 10th, 1942-Moishe the Beadle and all the non-local Jewish people are taken by the Hungarian Police
September 19th, 1942 - Moishe returns and tells the townspeople that the Hungarian Police were killing all the Jews. He was shot in the leg and left for dead.
1943
April 20th, 1943- The Russian 'Red' army was advancing so the Jewish people thought that Hitler wouldn't be able to hurt them.
May 12th, 1943- Schlomo refuses to move to Palestine. Schlomo refuses to move to Palestine
July 13th, 1943 - The Hungarian police come to every house and take all gold, jewelry, and valuables. Eliezer's father takes all of their savings and buried them in a cellar.
September 18th, 1943 - Jewish people were required to wear yellow stars and then came the ghettos
November 18th, 1943 - Eliezer and many others are relocated to a smaller ghetto.
December 26th, 1943 - The Jewish people are told to pack to be relocated to a new place.
1944
February 22nd, 1944 - The Jews walk to the train station and the Hungarian police are waiting to load them 80 persons to a car. They travel to Auschwitz Concentration Camp
June 17th, 1944 - After being in Auschwitz for a while Elie and his Father are relocated to Buna, a sub-camp of Auschwitz.
June 20th, 1944 - The dentist visits. The dentist tries to take Eliezer's gold crown.
August 20th, 1944 - The pipel, a young boy who was well-liked in the camp, was hung.
September 17th, 1944 - Elie doesn't fast on Yom Kippur because he is beginning to lose faith in god.
November 16th, 1944 - Elie and his father are relocated to Gliewitz. They are forced to run forty miles to Gliewitz and then once they get there they are starved for three days then sent on a train to Buchenwald. On the train they are 100 to a car and only 12 walk away from the train.
1945
January 3rd, 1945 - Elie's father is sick with dysentery and he moans to Elie and the other people don't like him.
January 6th, 1945 - Eliezer's father dies after being struck in the head by a guard.
January 23rd, 1945 - Eliezer is liberated by a combination of American Troops and an underground resistance at the camp.
