This course will introduce students to the techniques used by actors/singers to play musical theater scenes believably, honestly and dynamically. Acting techniques will be taught as well as work in singing, text analysis, dance, movement and speech. Students will begin with individual songs, then prepare, rehearse and present solo and multi-person musical scenes from Broadway musicals.
