**Detailed information below on Dress Rehearsals**
Dancers will rehearse the week of Saturday 5/30 through Friday 6/5 at the Nelson PAC and we have scheduled to the best of our abilities. We work hard to get our dancers onstage as much as possible so they feel comfortable and confident in their performances.
NO PARENTS ARE ALLOWED IN THE NELSON PAC DURING REHEARSALS.
We have the commons area reserved - you're welcome to wait or even drop off and come back at end of your dancer's rehearsal time. Thankfully you're right across from our studio now, so there's more to do in town, or you can quickly run home - much like during dance classes.
Our assistants will grab dancers at the doors to the PAC and escort them into the auditorium space. This rule is in place so our students can concentrate and successfully move through rehearsal within the allotted time. When we get better concentration from our dancers, we finish sooner than anticipated.
ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY DURING REHEARSAL WEEK, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early with your dancer, have appropriate dance attire (NO JEANS OR STREET CLOTHES WHATSOEVER) and the appropriate dance shoes. Make sure bathroom breaks are taken when your dancer arrives at the Nelson PAC as we do have a tight schedule to stick to. If your dancer misses ANY rehearsal during this week, they will be removed from a routine. The comfort and group dynamic is too important for our classes, and we take our shows very seriously.
TEEN DANCER PARENTS: Cally has gone over all dates and specifics with them in person, they are expected to take notes and communicate days/times with you as responsible young adults. Our teens join us all week long, days/times have been communicated - we expect their attendance. Please know if rides are needed for teens, we can absolutely arrange them/help out.
GRAND DRESS REHEARSAL: FRIDAY 6/5 @ 4:15PM (ALL PHDS DANCERS )
SENIOR DRESS REHEARSAL: SATURDAY 6/6 @ 8:00AM (ALL COMPANY DANCERS AND AGES 11+)
WHAT IS A DRESS REHEARSAL??
Dress rehearsal is a complete run-through of our shows (both of them). This is one final practice before show for our dancers, costumes must be worn for lighting purposes but NO hair or makeup needs to be done. See information below for details.

GRAND RECITAL DRESS REHEARSAL | FRIDAY 6/5 @ 4:15pm
Call time (arrival time) is 4:00 for dress rehearsal; we will begin no later than 4:30 PM.
Estimated finish time is 7:30-8pm. We will have an email sent out with the breakdown for this so you can be prepared as parents/chaperones for kiddos.
We estimate the show to be approximately three and a half hours long and no parents will be allowed in the Nelson PAC during this rehearsal. You’re welcome to run errands, leave and come back, hang out in your car, chill in the commons area or take a nap.
SENIOR (11+) DRESS REHEARSAL | SATURDAY 6/6 @ 8:00AM
THE WDHS "FARM TO FORK" BREAKFAST IS AT THE EXACT SAME TIME IN THE CAFETERIA OF THE HIGH SCHOOL - THIS WILL BE A SUPER BUSY EVENT FOR THE DELLS COMMUNITY AND SCHOOL DISTRICT. WE WILL BE SENDING OUT AN EMAIL TO ALL FAMILIES ABOUT ENTRANCE/EXIT CHANGES IF WE NEED THEM. BE PREPARED FOR TRAFFIC!!
Call time (arrival time) for dress rehearsal is 8:00am, we will begin IMMEDIATELY upon the arrival of dancers.
Finish time approx. @ 11am - PLEASE ARRIVE TO SAME BACK ENTRANCE AROUND 10:45am.
Because of time constraints and scheduling we will have a rehearsal the morning of our senior show. Thankfully, this show is only around two hours and if we have things to fix after run-through we will be pulling groups back onstage to review so they are prepared and confident for the night’s show. Our only priority is their level of comfort and confidence heading into shows because this show runs itself without the help of chaperones.
