The following courses are offered at Pequannock Township High School. Before enrolling in any Advanced Placement course, it is strongly recommended that you talk with your guidance counselor about your short and long-term goals regarding graduation, college plans, and employment.
Students who have an interest in AP coursework not offered at PTHS are encouraged to talk with their guidance counselor regarding their options taking the exam. Due to enrollment, some AP classes may be combined with an Honors section. The coursework will be differentiated to accommodate those participating in the AP class level. According to Board of Education Policy 2321, students must take the AP exam in order to receive AP weighting on their transcript.
All exams offered by College Board are available for students to take regardless of their enrollment in the course. For example, some students may choose to enroll to take the Chinese exam even though the course is not offered at PTHS. Please visit the College Board website for a complete listing of courses and exams.
