  1. How will teachers be able to assess what level the children are on if they do not see them on a daily basis, as was the case in the spring?

  • Teachers will be utilizing both formative and benchmark assessments to determine starting points for each student. Throughout the weeks, teachers will use both formative and summative assessments to gauge student.

  1. What is synchronous learning?

  • This is the kind of learning that happens in real time regardless of the learning environment. This means that the classmates and instructor interact all together at the same time.

  1. What is the difference between synchronous and asynchronous delivery methods?

  • Synchronous = happens at the same time. With synchronous learning, participants can receive immediate feedback. With asynchronous learning, the participants can learn at their own pace.

  1. How can the district provide additional/supplemental support to bridge the gap for all students?

  • All students can take advantage of extra help sessions, additional resources that teachers and/or related service providers offer.

  1. What happens on “B” days when students are not in school physically? Are students left on their own? Can students Zoom into the classrooms when they are at home.

  • Students that are remote will still be part of the classroom. Teachers will be creating classroom schedules and remote students will participate just like students who are physically present.
