AIM

Agricultural studies are intended to give students an understanding of general agricultural concepts concerning soils, plant and animal growth.

CONTENT

Students will engage in studying the importance of Agriculture to both the local and national economy. They will learn about the impact of climate on agricultural production.

Animal management practices to meet market demands will also be included. Students may be actively involved in the Cows Create Careers program and a small market garden.

ASSESSMENT

Assessment will be predominantly practically based with theoretical elements, with a focus on application of knowledge.
