Regional organisations are often essential partners because of their wide range of networks and knowledge of the local setting.

In collaboration with NHS Dorset, Arts Development Company are developing a Creative Health Strategy for Dorset.
As a strategic support and sector development organisation, Arts Development Company and Creative Health Specialist Gemma Alldred, have undertaken a period of research establishing the barriers and opportunities for Creative Health in Dorset. Working with Culture, Health and Public Health our goal is to enable the systems we work within, to better support Creative Health activity, with a focus on improving equity of access for everyone, as part of an integrated health care system.
This work is supporting key relationships and networks to develop, and will lead to a collaborative Creative Health Strategy building on existing assets, and enable opportunities to develop with ambition.

Pavilion Dance South West is a registered charity (1111641) based in Bournemouth. Simply put, we have a passion for dance, and recognise the potential it has to lift up and inspire local communities all over the UK.
For many years now, our work on the south coast has allowed us the opportunity to hold inclusive dance classes and workshops for people of all ages and skills, and put on exciting and innovative live dance shows at our esteemed venue – all while lifting the local communities around us through the power of dance!
Our work as a charity has always taken us into many inspirational communities, supporting disadvantaged groups with inclusive and engaging dance programmes like Dance for Dementia, Parkinson’s Dance and SHIFT – for those suffering with Dementia, Parkinson’s, and low mental health (among others).
Coda aims to make a positive impact in our local community, tackling inequality through universal access to a broad range of artistic and creative services and delivering innovative education and health programmes with people of all ages and abilities.
Creativity is not just for artists; it’s for everyone.
At CoCreate, we offer a nurturing environment where you can unleash your creative potential and find joy again.
Our creative health experts provide guidance and support as you begin a journey of self-discovery.
At TOSH we support many local communities through our community programme. We work in partnership with charities and organisations to deliver a wide range of creative activities, providing a welcoming and stimulating environment for individuals and groups to meet. We engage specialist workshop leaders who bring their creative ideas and expertise to share with the participants, offering a place for everyone to develop new skills, meet new people, and most of all to take part in activities that are enjoyable, inspiring and fun.
For Creative Health to successfully embed into systems, it's important to seek out partners in health and in the voluntary sector. By using the key health documents and strategies that set out priorities for a county, Creative Health work can include focussed programmes working with people facing the greatest barriers to health.
Everyone in Dorset deserves to live well. That’s why our NHS organisations, councils, public services and voluntary and community partners are working together as an integrated health and care system. We are joining up to tackle all the things that affect our health and wellbeing, make real change, and improve things for our communities.
Integrated care is about removing traditional divisions between services so people and communities get the support and care that they need.
Dorset's Voluntary and Community Sector Assembly, works by bringing together people and organisations to work on issues as they arise. At any point there may be a range of activities happening in the Assembly, run by different people, but connected under the umbrella of the wider purposes of the Assembly.
Its mission is to build trusting relationships within the VCS and between the VCS and other partners, and provide a fair and equitable way for people to be involved in its activities.
The Assembly is also the formal link between the VCS and the wider Integrated Care System (ICS) in Dorset, which includes public and private sector organisations.
