“I liked that Meet up Monday was on at a specific time every week. I knew that there would always be people there to chat to. I now know people in other groups through Meet up Mondays – through this I have coach trips planned and have even got contacts for local tradespeople. Above all, the library, its staff, volunteers, and facilities have offered me a welcoming space to meet, socialise, enjoy new experiences, and of course read. It has offered support to many people in the community, a warm space and given them a sense of well-being. It has been lots of fun. Please do it again next winter!”

For Creative Health to successfully embed into systems, it's important to seek out partners in health and in the voluntary sector.
By using their key health documents and strategies that set out priorities for a county, Creative Health work can include focussed programmes working with people facing the greatest barriers to health.

The Systems Change Action Alliance (SCAA) is a partnership of Voluntary sector, public sector, health, local authority and decision makers, who have joined together to challenge the current system for people with complex/multiple needs experiencing multiple disadvantages. SCAA members share the belief that a system designed to support people MUST accommodate the whole person, tailoring services to their needs, supporting them holistically and humanely, in ways that we would wish for a loved one.
