Our Classroom Rules
Our classroom rules can be summed up with:
If what you are doing interferes with learning, hurts someone's heart, or prevents you from being your best self, you shouldn't be doing it.
To help students understand specifically what they should and should not be doing, here are some rules that we have established.
Be kind to others, even when they aren't kind to you. Let an adult know when you have a problem and they can help out.
Keep your hands and body to yourself. You shouldn't be touching others - they like their personal space!
Respect others' property. Ask before touching it. If you borrow something, take care of it.
Respect when others are talking. Raise your hand when you want to talk during a lesson. Take turns talking with your friends. Don't shout.
Stay safe. Don't run. Watch where you are going or playing. Be careful with supplies in the classroom. Play carefully and safely on the playground.
