Trafford Elementary PTO Trunk or Treat is Oct 9th. CAP students can arrive at 6:00. Should be over around 7:30/8pm. They would be running games. We aren’t serving food this year since we’ll have food trucks.
Girl's Soccer Concession Stand Help: October 14th

Penn Township Trunk or Treat: October 18th 4-7 pm
We will meet at the Municipal Park to give out candy as part of their trunk or treat event- I could use help decorating my car and giving out candy to the kids!

I am with the Level Green Women's Club and we are hosting an event with Hope Remanes (a community outreach organization that uses mini horse therapy on kids at risk) on Saturday, October 24th from 11 am - 2 pm and are in need of some volunteers. If there is a possibility any students need community hours, we can definitely use the help!
The event is being held at B-Y Park and is called Don't Hold Your Horses PLOP Bingo - if you are familiar with Cow Patty Bingo, this is similar, except we are awarding CASH prizes when the horses "plop" on a ticket holder's number.
In addition, we are going to have a day of events for everyone - line dancing, lasso competition, selfie station, horse pond, meet the horses and more!

October 24th: Band Show
The Penn-Trafford Marching Band is hosting the TOB Region 8 Championship Marching Band Show on Saturday, October 24th. This is a great volunteer opportunity for the students.
As of now, the report time would be 1:00 PM. I will update the students if that changes.
Students can go to the link below to sign up to help. Students should only sign up for the Visiting Band Escort position. The position is to help visiting schools make their way around the high school campus throughout the show. Besides getting volunteer hours, they will get a meal at the concession stand.

Our Halloween Party through the Trafford Board of Recreation is at the Manchester Room on October 25th. The party is from 1 to 4 but we welcome them to come earlier to help set up as we cannot set up the night before. We are also having a parade with the help of our local fire/ems and police. Some areas we could use volunteers:
-Set-Up
-Parade Guides
-Party Assistants (making sure drinks/snacks are put out, plating pizza, games/crafts)
Tutoring Opportunity:
There is also a local second grader who needs tutoring- this would be for hours! If interested in helping out please email Mrs. McCracken.
