What we are learning this week in first grade: 🍎✨

Math: representing numbers to 20 & addition and subtraction with numbers to 20

ELA: nonfiction text features

Science: the six different animal groups, animal habitats, parts of a plant

Phonics: Students will be learning glued sounds that end in -ng and -nk

(-ang, -ing, -ong, -ung, -ank, - ink, -onk, -unk)

Writing: basic writing conventions on writing complete sentences and adding detail to sentences
