Concert Attire for 9th Grade Choir and Varsity Singers
All students should wear a solid black top and black bottoms with black DRESS shoes for all performances. Dress Shirts can be short sleeve or long sleeve, but should be a button up shirt with a collar. Plain black dress blouses are acceptable as well. Bottoms should be black dress pants with belt or black dress skirts that are at least to the knee or longer. Black stockings should be worn if accompanied by a skirt. Shoes must be plain black. Dress shoes should be a closed toe and back, and with no more than an inch heel.
Jewelry worn for concerts should be kept at a minimum. Stud earrings are allowed, but nothing hanging below the earlobe. Necklaces and bracelets should not be worn. Rings are acceptable. Hair should be pulled back and out of the face.
The focus of our performances is the music of our choirs. Every attempt is made to keep the focus on the hard work of the students and not their attire. If you are unsure if an article of clothing is appropriate, please bring it into class before the performance for approval.
