Mr. Adam Pfannenstiel teaches Instrumental Music at Pennwood Middle School in the Pennsbury School District in Yardley, PA. In addition, he serves as the staff arranger for the Pennsbury "Long Orange Line" Marching Band. During his time in Pennsbury, he has taught at all levels: elementary, middle, and high school. He earned his Bachelor of Music Education & Jazz Performance degrees from Temple University's Boyer College of Music, where he had the opportunity to study with some of the top jazz and classical musicians in Philadelphia and New York City including Dan Monaghan, Steve Fidyk, Glenn Steele, William Kerrigan, Terell Stafford, Dick Oatts, Ben Schachter, Bruce Barth, and Norman David. He also holds his Master's Degree in Music Education from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

Mr. Pfannenstiel has performed with some of the great names in jazz including Branford Marsalis, Nicholas Payton, Sean jones, Benny Golson, Terell Stafford, Dick Oatts, The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, John Clayton, Jimmy Heath, Slide Hampton, Frank Wess, Joe Wilder, Clark Terry, and Carla Cook. His credits also include performances at the Detroit Jazz Festival, the Hague Jazz Festival in the Netherlands, the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola and Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall in New York City, and the Kimmel Center, Chris' Jazz Cafe, Ortleib's Jazz Haus, Heritage, and Time in Philadelphia.

In addition to performing and teaching, Mr. Pfannenstiel is an avid composer and arranger. He has been commissioned to write and arrange music for various ensembles at Hershey Park and The Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia, as well as marching band, percussion, and jazz band music for middle and high schools around the country. Mr. Pfannenstiel currently lives in Newtown with his wife, Amanda, his daughter, Ivy, and his son, Max.
