If you like reading good books and discussing them with other people, then Reading Olympics is a club for you. If you click on the link below, you will find a list of books that has something for every interest and ability level. The books range from the latest best sellers to the classics that are the canons of literature. (What a great way to prep for your college English!) Your only requirement is that you read four books off of the list. This is a fun, low-keyed way to add to your academic resume.
You have two teams to choose from - one at East and one at West. Both teams meet during Activity period. At the end of the year, all of the participating schools gather to compete with one another by answering questions about the books. Teams receive ribbons based on how many questions they answer correctly.
Does this sound like fun? If so, speak to Mrs. Thompson at West or Mrs. Wambach at East and join the team. We look forward to meeting you!
