Library Procedures

Library Hours:

The library opens daily at 7:05 am.
Students are welcome to use our resources before and after school.
During the school day, students need to be with a class or have a pass from a teacher.

The library's afternoon hours are as follows:

Circulation Policy:

Student ID numbers are required for loans
Most materials circulate for three (3) weeks
Reference sources circulate overnight
Movies (from East) circulate overnight, with renewals up to three (3) times
Fines for late non-reference books are $0.10 per day and late reference books are $0.25 per day
Fines for movies are $0.50 per day
Books and movies may not be renewed or checked out until all obligations are resolved
Inter-library loans are available within the school district as well as throughout the state of Pennsylvania
Students may request a login in order to check the status of their account on Destiny (our catalog)

Usage Policy:

The library is available for students to use as a place to read, study or research
Students using the library should be with a teacher or have a teacher's pass
All students using the library MUST give your pass to the librarian and sign-in and sign-out
No food or open containers are allowed around the library's computers
