What is Canvas?
Canvas is the adopted Learning Management System, or LMS, for the Pennsbury School District. A Learning Management System is a dynamic online platform that houses course content, assignments, and grades. In essence, it is a one-stop-shop that students use for all of their courses.
For the 2023-24 school year, Canvas will be utilized for all classes in grades 6-12.
Parent access to canvas
Parents and guardians will also have the ability to create their own Canvas accounts, which will allow them to act as observers of their student's account, including full access to all assignments, announcements, and feedback posted by teachers. Each student can have multiple guardians attached as observers, each with their own account.
Parents/Guardians must register for a Canvas account and pair the account with at least one child before being able to fully access Pennsbury Canvas courses.
