STEM Bookshelf

Literacy Based Engineering introduces students to a basic design process framework and helps students connect this learning to familiar stories. Using well known mentor texts, students will have a learning experience that uses design thinking to help characters navigate their story in a new way. These unique experiences give the young students of Pennridge a hands-on approach to learning and failure. The cross-curricular experience will help these young innovators develop skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity which will be evident beyond their educational journey through STEM.

The resources shared here are ones that are NOT currently being used in the Pennridge STEM Labs. We hope to encourage the STEM mindset in all content areas and in all classrooms!
