Unit Project 2 - Computer Aided Design (CAD) & 3D Print Technology:

Bottle Car Racers

Students will first learn all about Computer Aided Drafting and experiment with design using an online application called TinkerCAD. In teams of 4, they will each design a wheel for a Bottle Car Racer in the TinkerCAD program to specific design measurements chosen by the team. These designs will be 3D Printed and added to the chassis of their Bottle Car Racer to be raced against other teams within the class.
